MR WILLS: Yes, I was in fact informed by the applicant's Attorney late yesterday evening that the matter might not proceed. Just to place on record Mr Chairperson, if I may at this stage, that I am acting for the victims of those persons whose affidavits appear from page 38 of the papers to the end, those are the families of - or M.I. Shangazi and his family, Silendele Sele and their family, Grace Ngedi, Catherine Ntini and Mina Luthuli. I am also informed that there are persons who are victims and who may require my services and I will arrange that prior to the next date, thank you.

MS LOONAT: No, Mr Chairman.
CHAIRPERSON: I understand the applicant has been informed that the matter will be adjourned today?
MS MTANGA: Chairperson, can I be allowed to place on record that the lawyer appearing for the applicant is Mr Abdul Shaikgee, a Durban Attorney. He was informed this morning that he does not have to come to the hearing, so he went back to his office, he was on his way here.
CHAIRPERSON: The matter will now be adjourned to be heard at a later date, possibly by a different Committee.
