A councillor who was burnt to death on in Guguletu, Cape Town, 26 December 1985, during clashes between UDF supporters and vigilantes known variously as the Witdoeke or the ‘Fathers’ who were associated with the councillors. She lost her house and all her possessions in an arson attack by a named ANC member in Bloemfontein on 31 August 1990. Ms Ndlovu was suspected of being a ‘spy’ for a councillor.
