On being asked whether he had anything to say before sentence was passed he said I wish to say this to the people who might have lost their friends and kids and families that I’m sorry. Next thing I wish that my country be friendly to its neighbouring countries, referring to what had moved him to act in this way. As leadership of the ANC, Chairperson, we’d like to take this opportunity to say that the sorrow he expressed is a sorrow that the leadership of the movement would also express.
