The families have known for a long time that the police had killed the women and men in the graves. But this is what the truth and reconciliation process is about, to prove those suspicions beyond doubt and to put names and faces to the victims and the killers. That is what we’ll do in our programme tonight. We’ll also take you to the last week of the amnesty hearing of five security policemen who have confessed to dozens of murders. We look at their latest confessions and we look at their psychological profiles. Is it possible that they could also be victims of a kind? But let’s start with the dramatic discoveries of the graves this week. The Truth Commission investigators only knew about the murder sites because six senior security policemen showed them.
