Special Report Transcript Episode 78, Section 5, Time 39:49Once I got admitted to the orthopaedic wards I started seeing the results of the war. I mean there were people lying around who had legs off, feet off, arms off, hands off, major shrapnel wounds, parts of their faces blown away and there were these constant flights coming in of ambulances flying back from the border with yet more people coming out of these ambulances or more body bags. It was very difficult to escape the idea that there was a war happening and somehow you were right in the middle of it.
