Was dismissed from work in Uitenhage, Cape, on 25 April 1985, after testifying before the Kannemeyer Commission of Enquiry into the Langa shootings that had taken place on 21 March 1985. Mr Berry, who was an ambulance driver, gave evidence about how police prevented him from helping the wounded at the scene of the shootings.
