An ANC supporter who had her home burnt down by IFP supporters at Madadeni, KwaZulu, near Newcastle, Natal, on 2 December 1991. The same people who burnt down Ms Buthelezi’s home had earlier that day killed her husband when a dispute at Durnacol Mines escalated into violent ethnic conflict.
