After six months in detention he was tried for terrorism in 1973 and was imprisoned for fifteen years on Robben Island. | References | CHOMA, Sydney Sekwati | 21 | An ANC member who was detained and tortured in February 1977 in Sekhukhuneland, Lebowa, and in Groblersdal, Transvaal.
