Was shot dead by MK operatives belonging to an MK Elimination Unit, at her home in Mamelodi, Pretoria, on 6 June 1986. The attack was targeted at her brother who was involved in the controversial proposed incorporation of KaNgwane into Swaziland. He was assassinated and her sister-in-law was shot and wounded. Four MK operatives were granted amnesty for the attack (AC/1999/0257).
