An IFP supporter who was shot dead by ANC supporters on a street in Esikhawini, KwaZulu, near Empangeni, Natal, on 18 December 1992 after rescuing two fellow IFP supporters from a burning house. The community is reported to have been particularly tense over the deaths of two IFP supporters a few days earlier.
