Was shot and injured by IFP supporters in Izingolweni, near Port Shepstone, Natal, on 28 June 1991 in ongoing conflict between ANC and IFP supporters in the area. Mr Gama’s brother was shot dead, his mother injured and his home burnt down in this attack.
