Was shot and injured by members of an ANC self-defence unit (SDU) fleeing from a roadblock in Dawn Park, Germiston, Transvaal, on 29 October 1992. Another civilian was shot dead in the incident. Two SDU members were granted amnesty (AC/2001/197 and AC/2000/139).
