Was hacked to death by members of the ‘Gadaffi’ faction of the ANC-aligned Khutsong Youth Congress (KYC) in Khutsong, Carletonville, Transvaal, on 28 June 1990. The split of the KYC into rival factions led to at least seventeen deaths between 1989 and 1991.
