MOTAUNG, Malefetsane Johannes 20A COSAS member who was severely beaten with sjamboks and tortured by named SAP members in Petrus Steyn, Orange Free State (OFS), on 12 August 1987, allegedly because he had been participating in a protest during a school boycott. He has experienced a partial loss of sight and severe back problems, due to a spinal cord injury, since the beating.References
