Twenty one people were killed and two hundred and seventeen were injured. The overall commander of MK`s Special Operations Unit and two MK operatives were granted amnesty (AC/2001/003 and AC/2001/023). Mr Mahlangu was the recognised traditional leader of the area during the conflict in the mid-1980s. | References | MAHLANGU, Eleanor Ndhlelendhle | 37 | She had her house damaged in an arson attack by `comrades` in Tweefontein, KwaNdebele, in June 1986, allegedly because her husband was suspected of being an informer for the Imbokodo vigilante group.
