An IFP supporter who was shot and injured when his home in Esigisini, KwaZulu, near Empangeni, Natal, was attacked in March 1991 in continuing conflict between ANC and IFP supporters in the area. Mr Makhoba`s wife and son were also shot and injured at home. Later that year, another son was axed to death at work in Empangeni.
