Was shot dead by members of the SADF in Ivory Park, near Tembisa, Transvaal, on 3 August 1993. The SADF was called in to monitor violence between IFP-supporting hostel-dwellers and ANC-supporting residents during a stayaway. When the army arrived they allegedly opened fire on residents.
