A SAYCO member who was detained for seven months from 26 April 1988 in Johannesburg, and interrogated on the whereabouts of her student activist boyfriend who had gone into hiding. She was pregnant at the time, and was released under house arrest for the birth of her baby. She later left home due to continued police harassment.
