An IFP supporter who was shot dead by unidentified persons who attacked his home in Ongoye, KwaZulu, near Empangeni, Natal, on 19 August 1992, allegedly because one of his sons was an ANC supporter. His wife and son were shot and injured in the attack. The Mpanzas` home and crops were also destroyed by fire.
