Ms Njikelana’s one leg is now shorter than the other. The soldier driving the vehicle failed to stop after the collision. The SADF denied the charges and the Attorney-General withdrew charges. | References | NJILI, Xola Patrick | 24 | Was detained on 28 May 1986 in East London. While in detention he was tortured by members of the Security Branch, as a result of which he was admitted to Frere hospital, East London.
