Was shot dead by members of the SAP and members of the ‘Zim-Zim’ faction of the ANC- aligned Khutsong Youth Congress (KYC), in Khutsong, Carletonville, Transvaal, on 22 June 1990. Khutsong was embroiled in conflict between the two rival factions of the KYC.
