A leader of the Black Cats who was killed by members of an ANC self-defence unit (SDU) during a period of conflict in Wesselton, Ermelo, Transvaal, in March 1992. Mr Ngwenya’s wife was killed and his sister-in-law injured in the attack. Five SDU members were granted amnesty for the incident (AC/98/0121).
