A citizen of Botswana who was killed by a car bomb explosion in Gaborone, Botswana, on 22 April 1987. Her seven-year-old daughter and an infant niece were also killed, though the Phetolo family were not the intended targets. See Gaborone car bomb. The head of the Security Branch and four Northern and Western Transvaal Security Branch operatives were granted amnesty (AC/2000/214).
