An ANC supporter who was shot and seriously injured by members of the SAP in Heilbron, OFS, on 9 September 1990. The incident occurred when police opened fire on students who were engaged in a protest demonstration. Though injured, Mr Rapuleng was detained and held for two weeks. He later successfully sued the state for wrongful arrest.
