Ntlonze massacre

Explanation
On 12 December 1962, armed Poqo members, on their way to assassinate Chief Kaiser Matanzima in Cofimvaba, Transkei, were intercepted by police. Seven Poqo members were killed in the encounter and three policemen seriously injured.
