Special Report Transcript Episode 11, Section 2, Time 08:06Du Plessis is serving a twelve year prison sentence and Van Wyk life imprisonment. This week they appeared before the Amnesty Committee. Both men believe they have been rehabilitated. Du Plessis had converted to Christianity and started a regular church service in jail. // Not only the three people who had died at Louis Trichardt, but also White and Grobbelaar. This really upset me, and I feel responsible for their deaths, in the sense that I was the leader of the organisation. I introduced Grobbelaar to the organisation. // I would like to say to Mr. and Mrs. Dubani’s family and friends. I’d like to say to them I’m really sorry for what happened and would like to say to Mrs. Roux’s family and friends, I’m truly sorry for the error which we committed there. I’m really, really sorry. I have no words to express how I feel and nothing can undo, no words can undo what we actually did but I am very sorry.
