The attack was in retaliation for the death of one of the football club members. Members of the MUFC had previously been sent to kill Ms Chili’s son because he refused to join the club. Was shot dead in a revenge attack on a home in Orlando West, Soweto, Johannes-burg, by alleged members of the Mandela United Football Club on 28 February 1989. Several others were killed in the attack, including Finkie`s sister and cousin, and others were injured. |
