Description
A schoolteacher who died in police custody on 15 December 1976 in the Security Police offices at the Sanlam Building, Strand Street, Port Elizabeth. Mr Botha had been detained for five days. Named members of the Security Police alleged that Mr Botha threw himself off a sixth-floor stairwell after interrogation.
