Was shot and injured on 22 March 1993 when APLA members armed with automatic weapons fired on the car in which he was travelling on the Vereeniging-Vanderbijlpark road, Transvaal. Three APLA members were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0002) See APLA attacks.
