Was stabbed and severely injured when her home was attacked by named IFP supporters at Nyandezulu, near Port Shepstone, Natal, on 8 March 1991. The perpetrators were allegedly looking for her uncle, an ANC supporter. One member of the family was killed and others severely injured in the attack. The perpetrators were arrested and sentenced to fifteen years’ imprisonment.
