Description
An SAP member who was injured when a car bomb, planted by MK operatives, exploded outside the NBS building in Witbank, Transvaal, on 24 October 1988. The building was used for commercial purposes, but also housed the Witbank Security Branch offices. Three people were killed and over twenty were injured, mainly civilians. Two MK operatives were granted amnesty for the bombing (AC/2000/055)
