A member of the SAP who was injured when he was shot at by an MK unit at Umzumbe, near Port Shepstone, Natal, during July 1991. Mr Groenewald had stopped the operatives' vehicle and proceeded to search it when the operatives opened fire. One MK operative applied for and was granted amnesty (AC/2000/058).
