He was returning from the funeral of his nephew, also a COSAS member, who had been killed by the police. | References | KAIBE, Moses Mohapeloa | 20 | A COSAS member who was shot dead by a named member of the SAP in Mangaung, Bloemfontein, on 27 February 1985. The incident occurred on the first day of a schools boycott. A fifty two year old relative was shot dead by the police after attending his funeral. | References | KAIZER, Tobias Hendrik Frans | 52 | A school principal in Lamberts Bay, Cape, who was the subject of a protracted campaign to discredit him between 1988 and 1989 because of his political and community activities. He received death threats, fake pamphlets were issued in his name, his vehicle was burnt, and false charges were brought against him. | References |
