A member of the SAP who suffered damage to his property when his house was attacked with a hand grenade by MK operatives in Mamelodi, Pretoria, on 10 May 1988. The explosion resulted in the death of his fourteen month old baby and severe injuries to his wife. Three MK operatives applied for amnesty for the incident. Two were granted and one was refused amnesty (AC/2000/199).
