Description
Was shot and injured by a named member of extremist right-wing group, the Wit Wolwe, at Strydom Square in Pretoria, on 15 November 1998. Armed with a 9mm parabellum and 300 rounds of ammunition, the perpetrator fired randomly at black people, killing seven and injuring 15, two of whom are permanently paralysed. The perpetrator applied for amnesty for this attack.
