An ANC supporter who died in hospital after being arrested and severely assaulted by members of the SAP in Khutsong, Carletonville, Transvaal, on 30 April 1990 during conflict between two factions within the ANC-aligned Khutsong Youth Congress. The SAP took advantage of the conflict and scores of activists on both sides were detained, tortured and killed.
