She lost livestock and had her house damaged in an attack by supporters of Chief Mahlangu near Dennilton, KwaNdebele, during July 1975. Chief Mahlangu supported the incorporation of Goederede village into Lebowa but many residents resisted, which resulted in violent conflict.
