Description He is assumed to have been burnt to death by Vlakplaas operatives, in Vlaklaagte, KwaNdebele, in July 1986. Mr Maifadi and eight other youths were recruited by Vlakplaas askaris for supposed military training. The house they were staying in was set alight and their bodies were burnt beyond recognition.
