Description
A taxi driver who was fatally stabbed and shot by a member of the Orde van die Dood on 29 August 1989. The Amnesty Committee heard that the perpetrator carried out the killing in order to satisfy himself that he was capable of carrying out his duties as an assassin and to fulfil the requirements for initiation into the Orde. The applicant was refused amnesty (AC/1998/0025).
