Was slapped twice across the face by named policemen in balaclavas in Bela-Bela police station, Warmbaths, Transvaal, in April 1993. She fell on a rock and damaged her spine. Ms Maluleka was beaten on suspicion of being involved in burning an informer`s shack with other people, in violence after the assassination of SACP leader Chris Hani.
