Was forced to drink petrol and was then stabbed to death by UDF supporters in Mohlakeng, Randfontein, Transvaal, on 27 April 1986 because of his friendship with a policeman. Mr Mani`s body was burnt when the owner of the house where the service was to be held refused to accept his body.
