A councillor who suffered damage to his property as a result of a hand grenade attack at his home in Jabulani, Soweto, Johannesburg, on an unspecified date between 1985 and 1987 by members of the Soweto Security Branch purporting to be MK operatives. The operation was intended to give an informer credibility. Four Soweto Security Branch operatives were granted amnesty (AC/2001/036).
