Was shot and severely injured by members of the SAP in Katlehong, Transvaal, on 7 October 1991. Mr Mbuleni was one of twenty people killed and twenty six injured during violence following the funeral of Sam Ntuli, general secretary of the Civic Association of the Southern Transvaal who was assassinated in Tokoza, Transvaal, on 29 September 1991.
