Description Was killed by members of iKongo on 2 December 1960 in Bizana, Transkei. Chief Mditshwa was allegedly accused of being an informer and a sell-out to the apartheid government. Chiefs who supported the self-governance of Transkei were targeted by activists because they were believed to be involved in the re-demarcation of land. See Pondoland revolt.
