A SAYCO supporter who was shot dead by members of the SAP in Steytlerville, Cape, on 3 July 1985, when police opened fire on marchers protesting against the death of the Cradock Four. In mid-1984, he had been expelled from school in Graaff-Reinet because of his political activities, and he was under constant police surveillance.
