A UDF supporter who was shot dead, allegedly by members of the KwaZulu Police, in an attack on her home in KwaMakhutha, Amanzimtoti, near Durban, on 9 March 1990. Her husband was also shot dead and her son injured in the attack. The family had been harassed and threatened by IFP supporters, and had their home burnt down in early 1986, allegedly because they did not vote for an Inkatha candidate during local council elections.
