A member of the Wembezi Crisis Committee who was injured when named IFP supporters ambushed the vehicle in which he was travelling in Estcourt, Natal, during 1991. The Crisis Committee was perceived as a political threat to IFP supporters in the area at the time. Mr Mkhize`s son was killed in the ambush.
