An employee of a private company who was beaten and shot by IFP supporters while delivering IEC pamphlets in Ndwedwe, KwaZulu, near Durban, on 12 April 1994. His eight colleagues were killed, Mr Mkhwanazi was the only one to survive. It took him three days to crawl back to safety. One IFP member was convicted for the attack. See Ndwedwe election attack.
