Was robbed of his motor vehicle by MK operatives in Matolis, Ramagopo, Tvl, on 4 January 1980. The vehicle was then used to launch an armed attack on the Soekmekaar police station in Lebowa. Three MK operatives were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0276).
