Was stabbed to death by IFP supporters in Boipatong, Vanderbijlpark, Transvaal, during the Boipatong massacre on 17 June 1992. Forty-five people died and 27 others were seriously injured when IFP-supporting residents of the KwaMadala hostel descended on the Boipatong community. The attack was allegedly planned and carried out with the aid of the police.
